On ties that binds
T |
his past days I lost a very important thread of my life, a thread that had linked me from my past, a thread that been my inspiration, my light, my friend, and once my beloved. It is true that once you share or give your love to somebody no matter what happens in the future still this love shared will always remain, this will form a thread that will forever link you to your beloved, whether love was returned or not, the sentiment stored in your heart will serve as its link. So, no matter if it is sentiments of joy, of love, of happiness or sadness, still memories remains and ties us to our past.

remember the first day we meet, she inquired where I studied Spanish, then from that simple inquiry bloom our love, a love that I thought would flourish and would last for eternity, but of course life is not simple as that, what we thought would last reach its end, we parted ways as lovers yet we started to be good friends, and now the ties that binds us she wants to separate for she thought that the emotions long been dead have been resurrected to life.

have nothing to do but to let her be, if it is freedom from future pain she wants then I will concede, I will give in, for though I fear to lose the bound of friendship that I hold sacred and we both share but if it compromise her joy then gladly would I loosen it, for I’d rather choose to see her happy without me than to see her cry by my side.

he flee from pain and she thinks perhaps that she is coward? some may agree to that, but it is human nature and natural instinct to flee from pain for example put a glass in your face, and open your eyes wide, notice that even if we are aware of a protective glass, if someone throws crumpled paper in our face our eyes as natural instinct closes, same with feelings if we know we will get hurt then we flee from this occasion, it is only a fool who would keep on walking the path to his perdition.
In closing I want to give thanks to you my dear friend, for everything we both had shared you know who you are, I’m grateful that we crossed path, and I’m thankful to God bear that in mind, I will always be here if ever you need me, “just call my name, and I’ll be there” hehehe, take care of yourself and until next time, or perhaps until someday where in we can be friends again without fear of hurting, I love you by God, and i hope we can bind our friendship again someday.
